DevoNatural Intensive Cleaner

About this product

DevoNatural Intensive Cleaner is a powerful alkaline cleaner for major maintenance of wooden floors. It removes old soap and polish layers and degreases heavily soiled floors, including tropical wood species.

Use it as preparation: before re-oiling a floor, applying an oil renewer or a new soap finish. It works as a pre-cleaner for any type of floor finish.

Because you work with water, it is only suitable for water-resistant floors at least 14 mm thick; thin or moisture-sensitive floors, such as some veneered floors, can swell or warp. Always test first.

Work with two buckets (cleaning solution and clean rinse water) and never use the product undiluted. Then let the floor dry for at least 24 hours before treating it again, for example with DevoNatural Wood Soap or a maintenance oil.

How to use it

• Remove all dust from the floor.
• Mix 0.5 to 1 litre Intensive Cleaner in 10 litres of cold water, depending on how dirty the floor is.
• Apply with a mop and leave for 5 to 10 minutes.
• Wipe or scrub by hand; for large or very dirty floors use a rotary machine with black pad or scrubbing brush.
• Mop over with clean water (a wet vacuum is recommended on large areas) and never leave water standing on the floor.
• Let dry for at least 24 hours before the next treatment.
