Article 1: General provisions

The webshop of Janssen Parketvloeren, with its registered office at Stadionstraat 20, Knokke, BE 1027.540.103, offers its customers the opportunity to make purchases online.

These terms and conditions apply to all items in the range of janssenparketvloeren.be and to every purchase the customer makes at janssenparketvloeren.be.

The customer accepts that these terms and conditions alone apply, to the exclusion of the customer's own general or specific (purchase) conditions.

Article 2: Price

All prices stated include VAT and all other taxes that the customer is required to pay.

If transport, reservation or administration costs are charged, this is stated separately.

The price applies only to the item exactly as described. The accompanying photo is intended for decorative purposes and may show elements that are not included in the price.

Article 3: Offer

The website is compiled with the greatest possible care. Nevertheless, the information provided may be incomplete, contain factual errors or be out of date.

If you have specific questions, for example about colour or availability, please contact Janssen Parketvloeren beforehand.

The offer is valid while stocks last and may be changed or withdrawn by Janssen Parketvloeren at any time. Janssen Parketvloeren may, without giving reasons, refuse orders, change delivery times or attach other conditions to delivery.

Article 4: Online purchases

The purchase is concluded when the customer receives a confirmation email. The items are delivered to the address in the confirmation email, or collected if the customer chose this option.

The customer pays online using one of the payment methods shown at checkout (including Bancontact, Visa and Mastercard).

Article 5: Retention of title

Delivered items remain the property of Janssen Parketvloeren until they have been paid in full. The risk of loss, theft or damage does, however, pass to the customer upon delivery.

Article 6: Penalties for non-payment

In the event of non-payment or late payment, the customer owes, by operation of law and without notice of default, interest of 10% per year on the unpaid amount, as well as fixed compensation of 10% of that amount, with a minimum of 25 euros per invoice. Janssen Parketvloeren may take back items that have not been (fully) paid for.

Article 7: Complaints

Any visible damage, incorrect delivery or other shortcoming in the delivery must be reported within 8 days of delivery.

Article 8: Guarantee

Consumers are entitled to the legal guarantee under the Belgian law of 21 September 2004 on consumer protection in the sale of consumer goods. Any commercial guarantee is without prejudice to these rights.

To make a claim under the guarantee, the customer presents the proof of purchase. For items bought online, the customer first gets in touch, after which they return the item at their own expense. A defect must be reported within 1 month of delivery.

The guarantee does not cover defects caused by accidents, neglect, dropping, abnormal or incorrect use, failure to follow the instructions for use, modifications to the item or poor maintenance, nor does it cover wearing parts. The guarantee is not transferable.

Article 9: Right of withdrawal

A consumer who buys online may withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of delivery, without penalty and without giving a reason. To do so, contact us within 14 days of delivery and return the items at your own expense within 20 days of delivery.

Only items in their original, undamaged packaging, with all accessories, instructions for use and the proof of purchase, will be taken back. We do not take back: used, soiled, damaged or incomplete items, items whose packaging has been opened, made-to-measure items and items which by their nature cannot be returned.

Article 11: Validity

If any provision of these terms and conditions is declared invalid or void, the other provisions remain fully in force. If Janssen Parketvloeren does not enforce a right under these terms and conditions, this does not mean that it waives that right.

Article 13: Evidence

The customer accepts that electronic communications and backups may serve as evidence.

Article 14: Applicable law

Belgian law applies. In the event of disputes, the Belgian courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
