About this product
Fedeal DuoSoap is a floor soap made in Belgium in a semi-artisanal way, with soya and coconut oil as its main ingredients. Every time you mop, it cleans, nourishes and protects your wood or cork floor, so the floor does not dry out and dirt builds up less.
It is suitable for both oiled and lacquered (sealed) floors. Its neutral pH does not harm the wood, and it leaves a fresh scent.
The white version is pigmented with a mineral colourant. It helps keep the original colour of white or light oiled floors and, on uncoloured wood, counters yellowing from UV light. Shake well before use.
Use the soap every time you clean the floor wet, even when it is not very dirty: mopping with plain water dries out the wood. Never scrub with an abrasive sponge, as it damages the finish and the colour.
How to use it
- Vacuum or sweep the floor first.
- Add 2 to 3 capfuls of soap to 5 litres of lukewarm water.
- Mop with a well wrung mop along the length of the boards.
- Repeat every time you clean wet; never mop with plain water.
