About this product
Osmo Intensive Cleaner is a highly effective, mildly alkaline cleaner that removes organic and inorganic deposits. It is designed to deep-clean oiled and waxed floors and furniture before re-treating them, for example with Osmo Maintenance Oil or Osmo Polyx-Oil, making it an alternative to sanding.
Always use Intensive Cleaner diluted (1:10 to 1:20 with water), and not for daily cleaning: that is what Osmo Wisch-Fix (Wash and Care) is for. It is also suitable for plastics, stainless steel and other waterproof surfaces.
Note: undiluted, the product can cause discolouration, especially on tannin-rich wood such as oak. So always do a trial first, even with diluted product, and do not let the solution dry on the wood.
How to use it
- Remove loose dirt with a stiff brush or broom.
- Dilute the concentrate with water, 1:10 to 1:20. Do a trial first.
- Apply to the dirty surface, leave for 5-10 minutes and scrub the dirt loose. By machine: single disc machine (e.g. Osmo FloorXcenter) with a red or green pad.
- Pick up the loosened dirt with a microfibre mop or lint-free cotton cloth and rinse with clear water. Do not let the solution dry.
- After drying, re-treat the surface with a suitable Osmo finish, e.g. Maintenance Oil or Polyx-Oil.
