Osmo Maintenance Oil 3440, white transparent satin

About this product

Osmo Maintenance Oil is meant for the periodic maintenance of oiled and waxed wooden floors. It refreshes a floor that has become dull and gives it a new protective layer. Maintaining in time saves you time-consuming sanding and a full renovation.

The white transparent version 3440 contains white pigment (titanium dioxide) and is therefore suited to maintaining floors finished in white or light tones, for example with Osmo Polyx-Oil 3040 White or Osmo Oil Stain 3501 White. The result is satin.

Suitable for all wooden floors treated with Osmo Polyx-Oil (solid wood, planks, parquet, OSB and cork), as well as stairs and furniture. Highly recommended for high-traffic floors. Once dry, resists wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk and water (DIN 68861-1A). If the wood is already bare or greyed, sand it and re-treat with Osmo Polyx-Oil.

How to use it

• Clean the floor thoroughly with Osmo Intensive Cleaner and rinse with clear water; clean furniture and stairs with Osmo Spray Cleaner. Allow to dry well.
• Shake the can well (stir larger cans well), do not thin.
• Apply thinly with an Osmo floor brush, flat brush or microfibre roller (approx. 15-20 ml/m²).
• Buff in with an Osmo FloorXcenter or HandXcenter and a white pad, and remove any excess. Small areas can be treated with a lint-free cloth.
• Leave to dry for approx. 3-5 hours with good ventilation.
