Osmo Polymer Composite Maintenance Oil 030, clear

About this product

Composite decking and fences made of wood-polymer (WPC) or bamboo-polymer (BPC) become dull and weathered over time. Osmo Polymer Composite Maintenance Oil 030 is a clear oil that penetrates the surface without building up a layer. The material becomes water and dirt repellent and more stain resistant again, with a satin matt look.

Especially suitable for WPC or BPC decks, fences and garden furniture. Not suitable for co-extruded boards (with a closed plastic top layer) or composites without absorbent wood or bamboo fibres at the surface. As there are many kinds of composite, a test area is always needed.

First clean the surface thoroughly with Osmo WPC & Aluminium Cleaner 8021, rinse with water and let it dry. Then apply one very thin coat. The oil deepens the colour (wet look) and can slightly yellow very light surfaces.

How to use it

• Clean the surface thoroughly with Osmo WPC & Aluminium Cleaner 8021, rinse with water and let it dry.
• The surface must be weathered, clean, dry and frost-free. Stir well, do not thin.
• Apply very thinly with a brush or flat brush and spread out well.
• Remove puddles and streaks with a clean, dry decking brush: no oil should remain on the surface or in the grooves.
• Allow 8-10 hours to dry with good ventilation.
