About this product
AquaSeal NaturalWhite by Berger-Seidle is a water-based two-component polyurethane floor lacquer. It is highly abrasion resistant and chemically resistant, which makes it suitable for heavily used parquet floors and stairs. Thanks to its tough elasticity it can also go on untreated cork.
It was developed specifically for light wood species: the white pigment preserves the look of untreated wood, so the floor looks almost unlacquered. The sheen is ultra-matt. On dark woods Berger-Seidle recommends AquaSeal RoyalMat.
The lacquer is mixed with AquaSeal hardener at a ratio of 10:1 and rolled on in 3 to 4 thin coats. On very absorbent species such as beech and maple Berger-Seidle advises a primer.
How to use it
- Mix the lacquer just before use with AquaSeal hardener (10:1) in the combi pack, stir well and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Use the mix within 2 hours and do not close the container airtight afterwards.
- Roll on 3 to 4 thin coats, preferably one coat per day.
- Sandable and carefully walkable after 3 to 4 hours, loadable after 24 hours. No rugs and no maintenance before 7 days.
