About this product
Blanchon Maintenance Oil is meant for maintaining floors treated with a traditional oil, such as Blanchon Hardwax Oil or Parquet Oil, and factory-oiled floors. It penetrates the wood, restores the protective layer and gives a natural, even matt look. It is particularly suited to high-traffic areas.
The Natural tint is for light or unstained wood. The oil is ready to use and has a subtle wax scent. Buffing is not essential, but a buffing machine with a white or beige pad evens out the patina.
Clean the floor first with Blanchon Natural Soap, Blanchon Lagoon or Blanchon Powerful Cleaner. The more regularly you maintain, the easier it gets.
How to use it
- Dust and clean the floor, let it dry.
- Shake well, do not thin, stir again during use. Do not use below 12 °C.
- Spread a very thin coat with a cotton cloth, microfibre pad or applicator, along the grain and without build-up.
- Optionally buff with a machine and white or beige pad.
- The room can be used again 12 to 24 hours after application.
- Rinse cloths and pads in water after use (risk of spontaneous combustion).
