About this product
Polish Protector is a protective maintenance polish (metallised emulsion) for lacquered floors. The film combines hard acrylic resins with polyethylene wax: it gives dull, worn lacquer an even look again, protects against dirt and black scuff marks and makes the lacquer last longer. It does not yellow or flake and has been slip-tested.
Suitable for all floor lacquers, site-applied or factory-finished. Can also be used on laminate and vinyl floors: test first on an inconspicuous spot.
The matt version (Métamat) is meant for matt lacquered floors and raw wood or natural wax looks. On Blanchon Intensiv Matt this is the polish Blanchon prescribes.
How to use it
- Wait at least 10 days after lacquering.
- Clean the floor with Blanchon Cleaner Lisabril, or thoroughly with diluted Blanchon Polish Remover, then rinse twice with clean water.
- Apply Polish Protector neat in 1 or 2 thin coats with a well wrung-out microfibre cloth, sponge mop or mop.
- Allow 1 hour drying between coats.
- Then maintain with diluted Cleaner Lisabril and occasionally add a thin coat on the busiest areas.
