About this product
Blanchon Universal Maintenance Oil is a maintenance oil for every oiled floor, whatever oil it was finished with: traditional oil, hardwax oil or water-based oil, site-applied or factory-oiled. It revives dull and lightly scratched floors while keeping their original look.
Apply a thin film with a microfibre mop on a clean, dry floor. Buffing is not needed and even discouraged. After about 20 minutes you can carefully walk on the floor again. It is odourless and slip-tested.
The matt version keeps a matt oiled floor matt.
Clean the floor first with Blanchon Natural Soap or, for stubborn dirt, with Blanchon Powerful Cleaner. If the wood is really worn, it is better to apply a fresh coat of the original oil.
How to use it
- Dust and clean the floor, let it dry well.
- Shake before and during use, do not thin. Do not use below 12 °C.
- Apply a thin film with a microfibre mop, along the grain.
- Do not buff. Walkable with care after approx. 20 minutes.
