About this product
Blanchon Parquet Oil is a penetrating oil based on urethane oils for indoor parquet, plank floors and end-grain blocks. It soaks into the wood, gives it a warm natural tone and protects against dust and moisture. The finish is matt. Not suitable for outdoor use.
It works on all European and most exotic species. Oiled floors are easy to repair locally, and the oil does not stop you from sanding and lacquering the floor later.
For daily cleaning use Blanchon Natural Soap or Lagoon, for deep cleaning Blanchon Powerful Cleaner, and to refresh Blanchon Maintenance Oil or Universal Maintenance Oil.
How to use it
- Sand the floor to bare wood and vacuum; the wood must be dry (below 10% moisture). Degrease oily exotic wood first.
- Shake well, use neat. Do not apply below 12 °C.
- Apply a first coat with brush or roller and buff regularly while working with a cotton cloth or a buffer with beige or white pad.
- Apply a second thin coat the same way, within 48 hours.
- Rinse cloths and pads in water after use (risk of spontaneous combustion).
