About this product
DevoNatural High Solid Oil is a hardening one-coat oil with high solids content, based on natural oils. One coat is enough: the oil penetrates well into open wood pores, is easy to massage in and increases wear and scratch resistance, while the wood stays flexible and breathable. It contains a UV filter against yellowing.
The chalk white version gives the wood a light, whitened tone. Always test the colour first, as the effect depends on the wood species.
It can be used on all wood species: indoors on parquet, plank floors, cork, furniture and wall panelling, and thanks to its water resistance also on bathroom floors and outdoors on garden furniture and decking, including exotic woods such as teak. It suits both homes and heavily used commercial floors. For faster curing, mix in DevoNatural Extra Hardener.
For weekly care use DevoNatural Wood Soap; for major maintenance, first use DevoNatural Intensive Cleaner. Avoid household all-purpose cleaners, which make the floor dull.
How to use it
- Substrate sanded, clean, dry, grease-free and dust-free.
- Shake and stir well before use.
- Apply a thin coat with a brush, cotton cloth or rotary machine with a thick white or beige pad, in strips of 60 to 80 cm.
- Within 30 minutes, remove the excess and buff with lint-free cotton cloths or with the machine.
- If needed, buff the whole floor again so all excess oil is removed.
- Avoid all contact with water for the first 2 weeks and do not cover the floor.
