About this product
Rectavit Teak Protector is a clear all-round protection developed for teak and hardwood garden furniture. Unlike a tinted oil it keeps the soft silver-grey patina: the wood weathers evenly and naturally while being protected against rain, sun, temperature changes, dirt and stains.
The protective layer repels water, grease and dirt and is self-cleaning. It is water-based and can also be used on natural stone. Suitable for teak, cedar, bangkirai, iroko, azobe, afzelia, acacia, padauk, ipe and other species.
Do not use on painted, stained, varnished, oiled or waxed wood. Clean soiled wood first with Rectavit Teak Cleaner. Plan on one maintenance coat per year.
How to use it
- The wood must be clean, dry and untreated; clean soiled wood first with Rectavit Teak Cleaner.
- Do not thin. Not in frost, damp or foggy weather.
- Apply 2 coats with a soft long-bristle brush, with 8 hours drying in between.
- Maintenance: one coat a year.
